About us
Since 1974, Nautica Centis has been a nautical workshop specialized in assembling and repairing marine engines and generators in boats and motorboats. We perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of marine engines and systems using only original spare parts.
In our 765 square meter indoor workshop located in Palazzolo dello Stella (Udine), directly on the Stella River, we make use of cutting-edge equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance on boats with inboard diesel engines.
We also offer on-site nautical assistance in the Northern Adriatic area, both on the Italian, Slovenian and Croatian sides.
Our History
Nautica Centis was founded in 1974 by Bruno Centis, who opened his business in Aprilia Marittima-Latisana (UD).
In 1984, the Company was the only workshop to enter into a service contract directly with MAN in Nuremberg until it became a Master workshop, the first among the 12 workshops currently in Italy.
Over the years, the Company’s professionalism led to agreements with major global manufacturers of engines (Volvo Penta, Weber, Vetus), electrical generators (Onan, Kohler, Westerbeke, VTE, Dynamica), diesel pre-filters (Separ, Racor), HP desalinators, bow and stern thrusters (Sleipner Side Power), electronics and control systems for pleasure boats (Mastervolt, ZF Marine, Emerson Aventics, Yacht Controller, Böning, Zipwake). Thanks to numerous participations at boat shows in Miami (USA) since the early 1980s, a solid, decades-long relationship was established with Cruisair (now part of the Dometic group), a worldwide American manufacturer of air conditioning systems. The Company has recently entered into a new partnership with Velair for the sale of air conditioning systems entirely produced in Italy. Lately, Nautica Centis signed an agreement to sell and service Besenzoni and Opacmare products, global manufacturers of boat gangways.
Nautica Centis has a 765-square-meter workshop in Palazzolo dello Stella (UD) directly on the Stella River, where all the environmental and safety in the workplace regulations are strictly met. The facility also features three fully equipped vans.
Over 50 years in business, Nautica Centis has provided training courses in-house and in schools.
The appreciation for the professionalism, dedication, and results achieved are confirmed by several generations of customers who keep turning to and trusting Nautica Centis for their needs. On 19 March 2012, Bruno Centis received an honorary diploma for his entrepreneurial skills, professionalism, and passion for his business.
Today, the workshop is managed by his son, Antonio, in cooperation with his family and supported by the Company’s employees, who work every day with dedication and passion to guarantee a complete service for the maintenance of pleasure boats to the customers.
